The project is a slice of what could be imagined as a larger artificial landscape. Fundamental landscape-producing operations (extrude, slant, slope) are articulated and modified to accommodate the particular needs of the project and the client, i.e. seating, passage through, and a model platform. The unilateral rib-structure echoes the rhythmic aesthetic found througout the interior in which modelScape will be housed. The rib-structure also mimcs the method and aesthetic of particular architectural site models - assuming an appropriate aesthetic as model base.
