Written in C++ and OpenGL, Panda is a custom design software / interface created for designers to visualize and design an outdoor thermal wall installation. The user can create any number of walls with variable temperature values and graphically see how they relate to each other and the environment. The temperature values of the space (defined by the grid) are shown in two colors (red for hot and black for cold). One can design a thermal barrier, pocket, room, and more. Also as a useful feedback, panda.exe visualizes areas that fall within range of user-determined optimal temperature as extruded boxes. The higher the boxes are, the more they represent the optimal temperature.
