Development of creative talent recruitment platform for the university to subvert the traditional format of a career fair as an open studio format for the recruiters have richer conversations regarding the students’ design talents. This initiative was a response to the acute challenges students faced in getting the recruiters’ attention and understanding of design talent beyond the resume. Work included web platform development, operational audit, and logistical streamlining of design students’ career discovery process. After successful iterations of the platform on an annual basis, Interchange is now a part of the university’s Career & Professional Development Center’s official programming platform.
